A Bit About BC Bill
Growing up in the RV Industry working
in my grandfathers manufacturing plant gave me the baseline of many trades.
At 14 after building my first set of custom kitchen cabinets, I was invited
to apprentice at hand crafting billiard tables by a senior craftsman that
saw the cabinets. At the same time I also was installing car audio weeknights
for a Mission based electronics store.
After a couple years of that I was
recommended to Freightliner of Canada to install interiors on their Burnaby
assembly line and I accepted the position. I worked there in several different
department until the plant was moved out of area. From their I went to building
true custom homes along side a crew who accepted nothing below perfection
and built some of the higher end homes in the Fraser Valley in that time
period.
From there I spent a few years designing
commercial interiors for restaurants and convenience stores, one of which
made it into a magazine for its future proof design. I then was offered
a position wiring voice and data networks including fiber optics and ended
up having Western Canada & the United States as my territory wiring for
our Government and many large corporations.
For most of my life I have been an independent
contractor but have worked for some companies on a contract basis, one of
my favorite being building custom extreme 4x4's. I was forced to retire
a few years back while awaiting spinal surgery and shut my 5 crews down
but after a few years of recovery I had trouble sitting still even though
Dr's said I shouldn't be able to walk never mind work.
Now I take on one contract at a time and
work with other top notch companies and individuals to cover that which
my body will no longer allow me to do and that which I don't have time to
do personally.
What I Do Now
Due to spinal damage I have downsized what
I take on. This just means I only take on one major project at a time personally
while still providing the on call emergency service calls I always have.
For those who's needs can't wait until I am free or my spine won't allow
me to do anymore, I search my large network of friends I have met over the
years and either work with them to take care of those in the fashion I am
known for.
Anything is Possible!
As for pinning it down to a list of what I or
one of my associates can do for you, that is about the only thing we can't
do.
But we can promise you quality and as economical
of a solution as we possibly can. And if we custom build you something you
can be pretty sure it will be a one of a kind personalized just for your
needs and tastes.
